  • Rehearsal Schedule: Monday-Thursday: 6:30 pm-10:30 pm & Sunday: 6 pm-10 pm
  • Tentative rehearsal on Friday, August 2nd.
  • Understudies will have 2 guaranteed performances on both Saturday Matinees.

    Joshua Bradley: Male, any ethnicity - 20's to 30's (*This role has been precast)

    Genevra Bradley: Female, any ethnicity - 20's to 30's

    Denise & Other Roles: Female, any ethnicity - 20's to 30's (Plays up to 6 roles)

    Lynzie & Other Roles: Female, any ethnicity - 20's to 30's (Plays up to 5 roles)

    Ross & Other Roles: Male, any ethnicity - 20's to 30's (Plays up to 5 roles)

    Joshua Bradley (Understudy): Male, any ethnicity - 20's to 30's

    Genevra Bradley (Understudy): Female, any ethnicity - 20's to 30's

    *Understudies will have 2 guaranteed performances on both Saturday Matinees

    Important Dates & Times

    Rehearsals beginning: July 8, 2024

    *There will be a tentative rehearsal on Friday August 2nd.

    Thursday, Friday & Saturday Evenings - 7:30 pm. Saturday Matinees & Sunday - 2:00 pm

    One week before the show opens there are to be no conflicts. No show conflicts will be permitted unless an emergency occurs.

    Preparation

    - 2 contemporary monologues (comedic & dramatic). Not to exceed one minute each.

    - Before you sign up for a time slot, please fill out the information in the attached Google Form. You will be able to submit your headshot and resume there. If you do not have a headshot, any picture of you will be helpful to us.

    -In person auditions are preferred/recommended. However, if you are unavailable for the audition times below or if the audition slots are full, please send us an unlisted YouTube link of your audition to: production@miscasttheatre.org. You will still need to fill out the Google Form if you submit a video. Video submissions are due on March 20th.

    Callbacks

    Callbacks will take place on Sunday, March 24th during the evening. If you’re auditioning that Sunday, we will let you know if you need to come back later. Everyone else will get an email about callbacks. If you submitted a video, you must attend the in-person callbacks to be considered for the show.

    Things to Know

    -Every performer will receive a small stipend

    -Community shows that DO NOT conflict with our rehearsals/performances:

    • The House that Sex Built - Teatro Audaz
    • Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - Wonder Theatre
    • Evita - Harlequin Theatre

    -Community shows that DO conflict with our rehearsals/performances:

    • The Wizard of Oz - Public Theatre (Only conflicts with first week of rehearsal. Could possibly work around this)
    • West Side Story - Zion Theatre Group
    • Beautiful - Harlequin Theatre
    • The Nevermind People - The Overtime Theatre
    • Judgement of the Eye - The Overtime Theatre
    • The Wiz - Wonder Theatre

    -If you submit a headshot and resume, you do not need to bring one to the audition. If you're unable to submit it through our Google Form, please bring a printed headshot and resume to the audition.

    -Please be as familiar with the show as possible. At the callbacks, you will be reading selections from the show and performing chemistry reads with other actors.
