AUDITION INFORMATION:
Auditions will take place in-person on Saturday, February 18th and Sunday, February 19th, 2023. Sign up for auditions (click HERE) by 9 PM on Thursday, Feb. 16. Actors will have a choice of time slot and should be prepared to stay for the entire time. Actors are asked to prepare a 1-minute monologue of any style or time period and wear movement clothes and closed-toe shoes. Audition sign-ups close Thursday 9 PM.
REHEARSAL/PRODUCTION PROCESS:
Actors will collaborate with the director to devise a complete theatre piece based on provided source material. Initial rehearsals will include training in Viewpoints, moment work, and composition. Actors will be cast based on merit as collaborators and not to fit specific roles. Rehearsals will begin Monday, February 20th take place Monday-Thursday 7 - 10:30 PM for 5 weeks. Tech rehearsals and shows will be March 25th - April 8th.
All rehearsal and performance dates will take place in East Central Austin.
