Described as “…the greatest American play ever written,” the story follows the small town of Grover’s Corners through three acts: “Daily Life,” “Love and Marriage,” and “Death and Eternity.” Narrated by a stage manager and performed with minimal props and sets, audiences follow the Webb and Gibbs families as their children fall in love, marry, and eventually – in one of the most famous scenes in American theatre – die.

AUDITION ANNOUNCEMENT!

Mark your calendars for the next auditions for Playhouse 2000's 2019 Season - the final show of our regular season will be Thornton Wilder's American classic OUR TOWN, directed by Sarah Distel.

Auditions are scheduled for Sunday, August 25 at 2:30 p.m. and Monday, August 26 at 6:30 p.m. in the Werlein Studio.

You only need to attend one session; be prepared to read from the script. Hope to see you there!
