Jul. 25 (2019)

C.S. Lewis is an Oxford academic in his 50s, riding high on the success of his series of "Narnia" children's books. When he begins corresponding with an American, Joy Gresham, Lewis surprises himself by falling in love. They marry, and Lewis becomes father to two stepsons. But his happiness is tested when Joy is diagnosed with cancer. Now Lewis, a devout Christian, suffers through a crisis of faith.

Auditions for Shadowlands are Thursday, July 25 at 6 pm, 2300 Williams Dr. Events Center Georgetown, TX 78628!

It has one of the best female roles I've read in a long time (age range: late 20s early 40s) and also calls for a boy (age: 9-12).

All other roles are male (age: late 20s-60s). No headshot or monologue needed.

Cold reading only and all roles besides the Boy and Female role(standard American accents) require British Accents(reference the Received Pronunciation dialect from Downtown Abbey).

Be prepared to read in this dialect to the best of your ability. Performance dates are the first two weekends of October.

Hope to see you there!
