Libretto Bar

Immersive live opera in upstairs at Liberty Bar. Performers will be either bartender, servers, diners, hostesses, cooks, staff OR main characters in the featured narrative. Everything is mostly sung and the audience is immersed in the narrative. The idea is to make them feel like they are in the set of a play. Some characters will be hidden in the audience at tables and all staff performers will sing to all audience responses (i.e. ordering food). The main performance will have a satirical and surrealist narrative that raises the topic of natural food vs modified with issues dealing with Monsanto. Liberty will make a special menu for the event and will work/train with any performers casted as "staff".

Roles will be mostly determined by voice capabilities and openness to immersive theatre/opera.Smaller roles will be available for limited vocal capabilities and inexperience. But all welcome!
