Your Mother's Copy of the Kama Sutra

Carla agrees to marry Reggie on one condition: to break down any walls between them, they'll reenact their individual sexual histories with one another, good and bad, for better or worse. Years later, these stories bring unexpected hope to their household, now forced to confront those barriers a second time. Kirk Lynn's tough-love comedy navigates the boundaries of intimacy, finding startling empathy in the story of a father hell-bent on saving his family.
Seeking submissions for the role of CARLA (Mexican-American, 28 years old) for the regional premiere of Kirk Lynn's Your Mother's Copy of the Kama Sutra, to be directed by Alexandra Bassiakou Shaw.
Rehearsals will begin in mid August, and will be held weekday evenings and some weekends. The show will run September 21st through October 15th, 2018.
Auditions will be by appointment on August 9th (7-10 pm), August 11th (2-8 pm), and August 12th (2-8 pm).
