This October we are excited to bring you a new voice and text by Austin playwright Katie Bender. 

 

Theatre Synesthesia presents "The Fault." 

October 11th - 27th at Sky Candy on Caesar Chavez

 

Pressed between the Redwoods and the Pacific Ocean, three sisters struggle to reconcile the culture of their itinerant family with their disparate ambitions and addictions.  The Fault is an unflinching look at families living off the far edge of the American dream.

Characters Needed;

Star- 14 (young teen) - a poet, dreamer, bright and childish

Jane - 17 ( late teens) - Type A, because someone has to be

Angie - Mid 20s - Pushing on everyone's edges

Sarah - early to mid 40s - Tired of Running

Bill - Late 40s to early 50s. - Ready to get back on the open road

Looking for adult actresses who can play much younger ages for Jane and Star.

Auditions are Wed., Aug 8th, 2018 from 7-10 pm at the Dougherty Arts Center, and call backs will be Mon. Aug 13th at the same time and place.

Sides will be provided ahead of time.
